Rudolf was born in the mines of the Chalk Mountains around Kaz'Ulrah. His father worked as a forgemaster. He made namely pickaxes in addition to other mining equipment. When he came of age, he set out to make his fortune as a famous adventurer. He made it about 5 miles out of the city before being jumped and robbed by a small bandit gang. His pride wounded, Rudolf gave up on his dream of being an adventurer. He worked in the mines with his father for many years. Recently, his father passed away due to natural causes. Rudolf, heartbroken and confused about what to do. Decided to set off and find his place in the world. At this point in time, Rudolf does not care whether he lives or dies. His only ambition is to see how far away from his home he can get before he meets his end. One way or another.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
