You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example:

My name is Thalion Fordring. I used to work in a small tavern in a city a few leagues south. It was a small tavern, which is expected for that part of city. I worked there a few years, and my boss always told me I did a good job! I enjoyed it whole time I was there, working over night just to get tavern ready for next morning. Many times, I slept there like it was my home...

But, unfortunately, tavern got closed beause my boss decided not to pay tax anymore. He got angry at us for not "helping" him with it, as we were supposed to give up small portions of our salary to pay taxes that were really high keeping in mind how small tavern was.

I had no choice, no other tavern wanted to accept me because of reputation or boss left, I had to leave city.

I packed my bags, and got along with the road. This town I came along is the second one I'm trying to get myself job in. I hope I will be more lucky here, I'm just trying to do what i really love, the one thing that made me happy for years...
