    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Is to get outside information that has nothing to do with something in game and use it to your advantage it is out of character and not in context with roleplay. you could also learn something from outsides sources that just comes out of nowhere and you dont learn in the roleplay. an example would be if someone was like here is where everyone is right now out of game and they are going to attack you. your character had no idea but you went and attacked them because you would be attacked but your character wouldnt know that.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It is using overpowered abilities that wouldn't exist to your advantage our to ruin the experience of another player.

she walks down into the bazaar with some money to try and get some goods. The man comes up and says the question and she would say "just gathering some supplies for a longer journey". He might ask where to and she would say "none of your buisness" The man would keep pressing maybe until she snapped and either walked away or attacked the man. If a fight broke out she would probably throw a few punches then get out of there.
