Emma Emerson was bornt on a rural area of Haense. Her life wasn't so out of the ordinary, she had a happy life. Her mother taught her how to cook from an early age which led her in one morning to try cooking something without the supervision of her mother. In that day she got a really big burn on her hand which made her scared of the fire. The parents were scared it would leave a scar but luckily it healed. . . Not really quickly, but the burn was gone from her hand. The parents didn't pay attention from that accident of her phobia of fire as they thought it wasn't that traumatic but Emma was still young back then so she developed a fear of fire. She stopped helping her mom with cooking and went outside to play, as the parents thought it was a normal child behaviour. She started admiring the nature as she was playing outside, and noticed the insects as she was collecting some random flowers or plants. She found them disgusting and dirty, although she felt empathy for them and tried to just run away from them and not kill them. As she was growing up her mom noticed the fear of the fire she devloped, she was 13 at the time they discovered and they forced her to cook making her trauma worse. Everytime she was near the fear, everytime she felt the heat of a fire near her skin, she could feel the pain of the childhood. With teary eyes she started to back away from the oven. Their parents were not happy about that and they wanted to help Emma. In the meanwhile, she was finding water really refreshing, she loved dancing in the rain, she felt like nothing could have hurted her when water meets her skin. Her parents constantly tried to help her and at the age of 16 she started to be interested more and more into herbs and how they can have a healing effect. Her parents kept helping her with her fire phobia and they partially succeeded. Emma could have standed near an oven without being scared of the heat, although she still has her paranoia.
Years have passed and she wanted to know more about the herbs, although the knowledge in the rural area was limited but she didn't want to leave her parents behind. She started thinking deeply on what to do. Despite her wanting to know acquire more knowledge she hates changing her lifestyle, she hates moving places and giving up her peace to move to the capital for knowledge. She was in a crucial place, where she had to either give up on her peace for knowledge or her knowledge for peace.
At the age of 18 she decided to move to the capital, at first her parents didn't let her go but they gave up and let her go since she wanted to gain more knowledge on herbs and overall medicine. Her dream was to help people as she was way too delicate and felt too much empathy to fight. Although, she's now stubborn and determined to achieve her dreams, she knows that now if she leaves her rural area to the capital of the Haense she has to forget about her fire phobia since she will have to cook herself her meals. . . Growing up with such phobia is hard, and she most certainly cannot forget about it but she can try and live with it.
Shocked from the man approaching her, she exchanges the smile with him distracting from what you were doing. "Oh my! Thank you for such a delighted welcome from you!" She said as she faces the gentleman and continues with "I'm afraid all the options are utterly risible." she said as she looks around the stalls, making small steps towards him, placing herself on his right talking in a quiet tone. "I aspire knowledge, the gift of humankind, the big places have a lot to offer, don't they?" she continues on looking at him with a small smile curved on her lips "Every living being has something to offer to the table, tell me, would you be so kind to help me on where I can find some Frost Vine?" she says that as she tucks her hair behind her ear.
