You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

He would stare at her as he took a seat on the cushion as he would take his helm off his face revealing a look of confusion on his scar covered face with eye patch over his left eye, "Hello, Madam I'm Alexander Phoenix" The man thought to himself for a moment as he places his helm onto his lap as he rest his elbow of his right arm on top of his helm scratching the bottom of his chin as you heard slight clanks of metal together, "My story you say, I'm just wandering boy who was abandon by his parents by the right age of 4 years old, but those 4 years where hell." His face would scrunch up as he thought about those years, "They would beat me countless times a day with a whip to my back, many days I wish I would just die where I stood. Then after 4 years they just got rid of me because they never really wanted me, so they left me in forest for me to fend for myself." He would close his one good eye as he just sighed a little "Nothing really has happened to me for years I just fought for survival. I just kept on thinking to myself I'll make a name for myself and give my last name something to be honored by. Soon when I think I was around 14 I meet a retired knight that had become blacksmith out in the forest to live his life in peace." He would smile as he began to speak about the man "This man took me in as I began to train under him, he became mentor on life and pretty much my father. He would train me for 4 years, after which as for those years he was training me, he was making me my own armor and sword. by the final day when it was my time to leave and go find adventure for myself, he gave me the armor and sword I dawn now" The boy had one little tear droped from his right eye as he smiled at the thought, "After that I left became a wandering swordsman that would travel across the land using my skills for good." He would look at the hag as he stood up with his helm in his hand as he bowed to her like a knight as he placed his helm onto his head, he would speak as it became a deep but stern tone under the helm, "It was my honor to meet you madam but I must take my leave now, I still have so much to do for the people of this land and world, as I will become Alexander "The Wandering Swordsman" Phoenix" He would turn as he began to walk out of the tent with sounds of metal clanking get quieter as more distant he got away then they finally disappeared as he continued his journey.
