Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example:
“Aye… you have the look of one who waits for old souls.”
He says while looking around the tent
“My name is Leif, Guldskägg, im of no great fame and dont intend to gain much of it. I came here not for gold nor glory, but for a Good place to Stay. Dreams led me, im on my Jurney and i wannt to find a good place to open a Tavern where i can share stories, and ofcourse lots of Goood Old Ale.”
He pauses, while leaning on his Big Battle Axe.
“I was a wanderer. in places where even names were lost. But now I keep a hearth — all i wanna do is to serve ale to the tired, bread to the broken.
“But then — if you’ve been expectin’ me… perhaps it’s your turn to speak. What whise words are going to speak to me?”
