A free soul, as the name would imply! Lain'faer has been alone for a long time, never even knowing his true heritage, but knowing he was of the Maehr'sae. He was never taught the general traditions of the mali’aheral and so doesn't exactly uphold them. Always willing to speak to anyone in the pursuit of knowledge and a constant insatiable desire to know everything that others know. Trying his hardest to make it through childhood without any one parent, he was constantly somewhat tossed around by the youngest elves in Okarn'thilln. The Fringe was a place that was tossed about as his home, but no one ever had a solid idea to give him. It was assumed that his predecessors were a part of the Crimson-Silver and were some of those who made it through the portal away from the drought-laden realm. Always want for leaving the presence of the stubborn High-Elves he was always looking for a way out of the major settlement he grew up in. He never made it far and generally found that the people he met were not overly coy once he was away from other Elves. Generally accepting that he was not going to be traveling far he spent his time reading about the other places of the world. Of particular interest was the Olog's true culture because of his inability to find almost any literature on the subject of the race. Leaving adolescence behind he found that it was less difficult to explore the world than expected, but generally found more comfort in staying in seclusion as to not be interrupting while studying what he found interesting. The most enjoyment that Lain'faer ever found was in the company of himself along with a book and quill to rewrite what he could remember from his readings. His life's ambition is to set up camp with an Olog and other people in the pursuit of finding more information about a somewhat unrealized culture. Along with his general attitude comes a family heirloom, a vibrant antique dagger that has always been by his side and a monocle that was given to him when he was coming of age by a childhood friend.
