    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta-Gaming is when your knowledge exceeds that of the character you're playing as, giving an unfair advantaged to you.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power-gaming is when you play a character in such a way in which you make yourself unaffected by the debilitations and don't abide by the rules of roleplay that hinder your character.

I glare down at the well-dressed gentlemen with a cold stare. “My business here is of no concern to you.” I gaze around the city and create a small grunt. “Where can I find some ale?”

 

The gentlemen, instilled with fear, points in a direction to which I follow.

  • Your backstory mentions that Wulfrey was attacked by mages -- he can not have any interaction with magic users so please edit these bits accordingly.

  • Your backstory includes an infamous rise to fame of your character, this is something that must be learned in game. This must be removed. ”The amount of bloodshed and violence that Wulfgar had caused to many of the regions of man had earned him the name Wulfgar the Wrathful.”

  • Your personality traits mentions that your character dislikes magic/magic users. Your character should have no knowledge of magic as this must be learned through roleplay. Please remove these mentions.

  • Your roleplay scenario must be at least four sentences long.
