Ragnar comes from a poor family of farmers and sailors. As a child Ragnar liked to fight and explore, often getting into great trouble, he was always taught to be respectful to those who deserve it and he was taught to fight very well by his father and mother, he took particular liking in many types of axes and knives and often shields. Ragnar was told many stories by his father, Sergio II Krum and his mother, Madilaine Krum. These stories were always of war, Gods, history, raids and many more. Some of the stories that Ragnar’s mother told him about Aegis and how cloud temple came to be. Despite being told these stories as a child, the Krum family had been servers of the Red Faith for generations, ever since his ancestor, Sergio Krum pledged himself to the King of Norland Madilaine, knowing this, still tells Ragnar these stories so he’d be more open minded. Ragnar’s family was often on the move until they decided to settle and become farmers, this was until when Ragnar was 18 and a group torched their hut, Ragnar is the only known survivor of the Krum family, sailing away. After days of sailing down a stream, with hardly any sleep, Ragnar finally arrived to shore, by the city of Santegia. Ragnar, hiding his religion and legacy, started working at a blacksmiths in Santegia, becoming an apprentice. No matter how bad things got for Ragnar, he never let it get to his head and he kept it positive and looked for the best and he didn't let anger consume him. After 4 years of working at the forge, Ragnar’s true identity had been revealed as the thugs who murdered his family had arrived in Santegia. Because of this Ragnar fled on horse back with a battle axe he forged and some tomahawks that he had mastered. From this point on in his life Ragnar never stopped for long, he would often stop at taverns to get a drink and often, “a good time.” Ragnar Krum is currently still exploring the land.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø You must include at least one character flaw in your interesting facts/traits. 

 

Ø You mentioned in your character’s biography that Ragnar’s father told him stories about Aenguls and Daemons, however, followers of the Red Faith don’t believe in either of those beings and very few people even know that they exist. Because of how unlikely it would be for your character’s father to have this knowledge, it would be best if you could change this.
