    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Exploiting/acting on information obtained out of character, so if I as a person receive information that has any sort of influence over my character, and then proceed to act on said information while playing the character I am metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Playing a character in such a way that the character is unrealistically powerful/invincible etc. If I am playing a frail, young and unexperienced character it is completely unrealistic that said character could slice down an experienced, mature army veteran, it is not like my character is suddenly a swordmaster just because he's in immediate danger. Forcing an emote upon another character, or suddenly obtaining unfair or unrealistic traits/skills is to be considered powergaming
