    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge that your character wouldn't know about, such as knowing if someone is plotting to betray you OOC and then reacting to it irp before it even occurs
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is where your character does essentially unrealistic actions that wouldnt be feasibily possible or if you state the consequences to an action rather than describing the aciton and giving the other player a chance to action. Such as *John swings his sword and slices Bob's arm off* would be powerplay whereas *John swings his sword toward's Bob's arm in an attempt to slice it off* would be better as it gives the other player(Bob) a chance to react.
