Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Kithe would stiffen for a moment, not expecting the question but thinking about it for just a second as she fidgets with her hair. She'd look over at the woman then give a slanted smile, "I suppose I don't mind since it seems you've been waiting for me.. a bit weird since I only came in here to see if you were hiring but okay." Then giving a small shrug before plopping down on the seat, immediately settling into a comfortable position leaning back against the chair before crossing her legs for a moment then uncrossing them and glancing around the tent. "Nice Tent, reminds my of my mom's place." Then looking back at the woman a bit blankly before they widen, "Oh right! Names Kithe by the way, unless you already knew that??" giving her a suspicious look then a small grin.
"Any who...Gosh where do I start...? Lets see." Tapping her finger against her chin with a loud hum "I've been on the streets for a bit after my dad died from sickness, he was an elf by the way, and my mom died from alcohol poisoning.... are you sure you want to know all this information I feel like I'm oversharing."
She'd fidget in her seat then sit up straight, tapping her boots against the floor consistently "Okay okay, well once they died, I've been on my own for the most part just trying to get a job, do you know how hard it is to get a job? It doesn't help when I'm practically classified as a freak but whatever, that's their loss, I would be a great employee!" Sticking her nose up in the air and crossing her arms only to then deflate a bit later then sigh.
"Either way I'm going to show them all wrong and that's gonna start with me getting paid so please hire me! What are you anyway like a fortune teller? I could do that." She'd say having no idea how to do that.
