In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Knowing things your player doesn't know, but what you know as a person, which kind of sucks.
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Being too over powered like, "Attacks, no dodge, no escape, no affect insta kill. Sunlight Yellow Overdrive."

Keldo's Body: Keldo has smooth skin all over except his hands, which are rough and ridged. Being toughened up after all of the fights he had been through. - Life Story / General Information -

Keldo Artimis had a rough childhood growing up, being born into this world without knowing his hometown or parents. Living in far off places, likely a desert area by his darkened skin tone. He was much bullied as a kid, with destitute living environments. As he grew up he learned how to survive, picking up a crossbow as a weapon. As well as having many fistfights as a kid. Since being poor he learned how to manipulate and steal, even go as far as to sometimes kill a person. Keldo had no parents. No friends. Only focusing on his survival.

As a teen Keldo had a lot of trouble learned how to speak since not knowing his parent and talking a lot while speaking. Learning how to make money by bounty hunting. Taking many bounties yet being cheated out of many deals. Still having an animalistic like nature, picking up a few words to learn how to survive. He was basically a slave, not being promised the money he has been told in deals. Keldo had his arm scarred badly with many deep wounds. As well as his eye mutilated while he was being broken out of a deal by a mage. Only surviving by sticking an arrow through his neck. Keldo managing to scrounge his arm in whatever metals he can to mend himself. Learning how to read being self-taught has forced him through the pain to fix his arm. Becoming quite the sniper with the crossbow, modifying a few arrows to fit his needs. Still refusing magic as a fix, due to what the mage has done to him...

Keldo in his adult years added engravements to his arm. Along with building himself a monocle, made with the fine crafting skills he had acquired from his now many years in metallurgy. Learning how to weld metals together. Now able to talk more, ridding himself of his animalistic ways for a more humane way of thinking. Taking on acting as a hobby to mask his animalistic nature. As well as perception and stealth training. Still bounty hunting but less due to realizing the many dangers. Now having a better life than previously when he was a teen. The pain and traumatizing nature of losing his arm still affecting him to this day. Though dealing with it better. Though, growing an intense hatred for magic. Vowing to never use it.

He is a man of a nomadic lifestyle, ending up where he is now, probably to settle down for good, finding the blossoming nation of Almaris a suitable place to settle down in. Searching for more adventure through out these uncharted lands.

Character Name: Keldo Artimis
Character Race: Farfolk
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 24
Physical Description: Keldo Artimis wears worn silver shins, tattoos on his left arm, copper right, a monocle of brass, a cloak, a scruffy blond with an orange front. Dyed.
Roleplay Scenario:

Keldo would arrive from the boat, legs shaking as much of a land lubber who has been away from solid ground for a while. As he would continue from there, getting over his sea sickness. As he marveled at the entire fortified city, looking around in absolute awe, eyes opened wide, mouth agape. He wouldn't even know where to start among the masses. As he continued on he would meet a man with great clothing. Thinking he has made it to the area owned by the rich on accident. Squaring up his speech from his common slur. Keldo Artimis would respond in his yule and gleeful attitude. He looked to the well-dressed man, addressing him accordingly by offering a handshake to the man in proper attire, "Salam! What nice clothes you have!" Keldo would speak in a wonderful greeting, as if a long lost friend who he has just rekindled or crossed with once more. "Aiye, I am a nomad, looking to settle down in some of these parts... Ya know?" Keldo's speech being of a bit of a common slur, with a bit of a Italian accent meshed in with normal medieval English. "Aw hell, why not bloody all three." Keldo responding to all three of his questions with a smile. Keldo's cheery attitude would charm the man so much, he would give him his wealth right then and there. Of course not really but his proper mannerisms and great attitude could kindle an entire conversation on its own. Though from then on, he would observe what would be through out the bumbling bazaar. Smelling all the spices, looking to racks of carpets and oddities. Probably picking up a fruit or two.

Hi there! As you can see, your app is almost ready! Just a few changes you need to make, but don’t worry - you are doing great!

  • Hello, you mentioned your character can go into a fury where there are no bounds to his limits and he can not feel pain. It wouldn’t be realistic if you got into a roleplay fight and ignored being stabbed or wounded, please update this!

  • How would you define roleplay and what drives your character? Please answer those two questions.

  • What caused your character to develop the fear of losing control of himself?

  • You talk about how your character was living in the rough sands of  Farah’deen, I don’t see that on the LotC wiki page, please correct me if I’m wrong. (Lord of the Craft)

You’ll be given 24 hours to correct the changes above. Once you are done correcting, please contact

me!

Whenever you are done, or have any questions, feel free to message me via the forums, or in-game with /message ThSamurai! If I’m not around there, you can add me on discord at ThSamurai#6546
