You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Adalynn settled onto the cushion, her posture poised yet her eyes betraying a mix of weariness and determination. "I hail from Haenseti-Ruska," she began, her voice carrying the echo of a distant land. "Born into a family of farmers in the capital, life revolved around tilling the fields and harvesting crops amidst unforgiving weather. But I sought more than the toil of the earth."
Her gaze momentarily flickered towards the candles, casting dancing shadows around the tent. "Dreams of a life beyond the fields led me away from my homeland," she continued, her words measured. "I yearned for prosperity and a life beyond the simple confines of farming. The heartlands beckoned, promising the allure of wealth and status through marriage."
"In pursuit of this ambition," Adalynn confessed, "I find myself in this unfamiliar, swampy town seeking opportunities that might pave the path to my aspirations." She paused, collecting her thoughts before meeting the old hag's scrutinizing gaze. "Yet, fate seems to have led me to you, a seer of sorts. What guidance might you offer to aid me on this uncertain journey?"
