Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
“Oh, uuuhm well how do you know me?” - Willum
“Don't bother youngling.” Said the old hag.
He shook her hand out of respect.
“I came from a land that no one knows, it is cold and always winter. My whole family were smiths and clerks. When I was 18 I was selected for the Viking tryouts. Fortunately I was selected and I could go to battle in the crazy southlands.” Said Willum.
He grabbed a chair nearby and sat down on the chair.
“I had to go there with our Viking ship, it was a quite rough journey you can say. "Sigh" In the journey we came across a big storm and one wave swept me and my fellow Vikings of the boat. I had to take my armour, axe and other equipment off otherwise it would drag me down. I still look back at my family in the northlands "sob". And then a ship of the south had saved me and gave me some new clothes and some money to start off with in this world.” Said Willum.
“Well that's quite a big story and I'm sorry to hear that.” Said the old hag.
He stood up again and thanked the old hag for her time to tell her his story.
