How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the taking knowledge from outside of the roleplay and implementing it inside of the rp. An example would be if you were in combat and asked your friend to come and help while they were not present.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is unfair emotes and unfair roleplay in which someone may force an emote onto someone else. An example would be forcing an emote onto someone that is unfair, say someone was a 'powerful' sorcerer that had a spell to instantaneously kill someone with no drawbacks that could be used often. That would be declared unfair as someone is forcing a death onto your character without any real lore, or reason for said death.
