Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

The elf hesitates before sitting, her fingers curling around the edges of her tatterd cloak as if it was armor.
"You- know me? that's rather awkward uhm- i'm really a nobody... nothing more than a fallen princess- a nobody..."
"I grew up in a house of chaos- of hatred. My older sisters were taught to be nothing more than blades- weapons or tools to be used.
When i was born for whatever reason- my mother said 'you're too frail- too weak...' and so she forced me to make decisions. "
"Executions, Murders, our next target. Always blood on my hands and she emphasised this..."
The elf gently tugs on her cloak pulling it as if she were anxious or unsettled by her statement. To this hag its likely clear that this poor girl has trauma, and has been through quite a lot of instability.
She opens her mouth again, the next words coming deeper from her heart.
"I've long abandoned the crown i was forced into and i seek solace, a place where i can make friends. I want to wash my hands of the blood that stains them- my mind of the memories that stain them,.
I want to explore a world unbound- unfaltered by people telling me what i am... I am young and my story has only started.. i am but a peasant now..."
The elf pauses standing from the seat and gently dusting it off and once more tugging her cloak ever closer to her chest as if trying to cover her scars.
"So tell me.... kind hag... What do you see?"
"A murderer?.... or per chance do you see past the blood that was spilled on my hands, the food forced in my face, to see a girl that has so much story left to unfold?...."
