You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: You can easily avoid powergaming by writing your emotes better. For example, instead of writing: "Swings his swords and hits [blank]" write "Swings his sword and attempts to hit [blank]"
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming can ruin people's rps in seconds. For example: Lets say that a character makes a pact with a deamon. This pact is only known by the character and the deamon, but somehow, because oocly it was told to someone, this becomes a public knowladge even though this should be impossible to know.
