It was in this moment that Andyria held tightly to a small wolf-tooth necklace that her mother had made for her years ago. A mixture of curiosity, wonder, and trepidation flickering across her soft elven features. With her heart hammering, Andyria stepped off the boat to the city. For a moment, she simply stood at the edge of the bazaar, her eyes drinking in the scene before her. Though, at the sound of a man's voice, her attention was snapped back and her blue eyes immediately fell upon the man. For a moment she simply tilted her head. The attire of people here was so starkly and vastly different than what her people wore back home. She found it refreshing, if a bit odd. There were so many unnecessary buckles and bobs that could get caught on tree branches. Finally she answered while giving a beaming smile, "Oh just exploring!" The words came out in a peppy chirp before she flicked her gaze around once more. "I've never been to a city before. This is all rather exciting!"

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the act of using information about a setting, lore, or world in roleplay that the character you are playing would -not- know or have knowledge of on their own. It is using information you have gathered OOCly for IC gain/means.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is in essence when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. An example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RPers try or they have unlimited power in one form or another.
