Leo Laff was born in the Kingdom of Santegia, his father being a soldier during the Santegian Rebellion War, was often strict and hard on Leo and his brother. He was the 3rd child out of five siblings only having one other brother, the others being female. Around age 13 his parents began to dislike each other more and more and his father physically hurting his mother caused him to suddenly leave one night never returning. In Leo's mid teen years he was an assistant in smithing and wanted to get a better education, his mother wanted the same for him but could not afford his schooling so she would offer the knowledge she had by schooling him at home. When Leo was 19 he was jumped by a group of people when he was running some errands for the smithing shop he worked at causing injuries to his head and facial region resulting in his eyes turning to a dark ruby red. When Leo became 22 his mother had became ill and unable to continue to do most of the housework which ended in Leo and his siblings working together to take care of their mother. Leo, trusting his siblings, left home to find a better source of income for himself along with his family.
