    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is basically when you use information that you found out of character, in character.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is basically when a character does something that isn't fair for the other player and/or does not let him respond. Example: John runs towards Jimmy, and cuts his arm off with his sword.

Bedlym Ebonheart was born in the lands located near the Duchy of Adria on the 14th of the Grand Harvest, in 1691.

He grew up in a poor family that didn’t pay him all the attention he needed, and usually found himself playing in the woods. One day he got very lost, forcing him to roam in the wilderness for years. Since he was born, Bedlym had problems to communicate with other people, that’s why he only speaks very few times, and when he actually does, he usually only says simple words or phrases [ With some exceptions ].

Avoiding conflict and manual labor at any time, Bedlym tries to find the easiest way out of most situations. Quiet and reserved, he refers to himself as an intellectual.

In regard with his personal aspirations, Bedlym has always wanted to become an explorer, a true man of the people. Someone helpful.

After stumbling over a rusty sword, he found the audacity he needed in order to begin his journey and become the adventurer he had always wanted to be.

Bedlym has spent years surviving in the forest but somehow he has now found his way out of it and has found a land called the Kingdom of Curonia. He personally thinks that the it may be a very good place to start again his life and be the explorer and hero he always wanted to be. At the moment, he’s heading to meet with a man called Alexander II Merentel, who seems to have a proposal for him.

Physical Description: Bedlym can be seen wearing simple clothes, mainly made out of leather. He wears a Poncho, which he uses most of the time, keeping him warm and cozy.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø  Your powergaming definition is partially correct, however it is vague and doesn’t quite match the server’s definition of powergaming. Please refer to our wiki page on Powergaming for the most correct and relevant info (Just keep in mind not to plagiarize).

 

Ø You must include at least one clear flaw in your character's interesting facts/traits.  A flaw should generally be something to do with the character’s personality/behaviour. These facts/traits should be at least five-word sentences.

 

You’re nearly there however there are a few changes that you must make to your application before you can be whitelisted. You have 24 hours to make the changes above. Once you’ve finished editing your application, shoot me a message here on the forums or through discord and I’ll take another look.
