Aver'wyn was born amongst the diversity of Sutica. Her parents settled there after seeking a setting where their child could grow up with knowledge of all different cultures and be more tolerant than some of her other elvish relatives. Growing up, her parents did their best to pass their culture down to her. This included passing down extensive knowledge of her ancestors and teaching her how to best wield a blade. Furthermore, they took full advantage of the offerings of Sutica, including the extensive knowledge and diverse population. She was friends with people of all kinds. Her closest friends growing up were a human boy she met in her first year of school, and a female wood elf she met in an early job at the local bookstore. Her parents were always very strict with her, but she understood they just wanted to do what was best for her. Therefore, she rarely broke rules and never really got in huge trouble. Growing up, her parents made it clear that they wanted her to stay in the city when she grew up. As much as she respected her parents, she needed to explore the world. This desire was so great, it bypassed the innate desire to follow her parents will. Her parents were furious when she tried to leave the city. They have a tense relationship now, but they would always accept her if she every decided to come back home. After years of traveling, she arrived at the Holy Orenian Empire as a Dark Elf. It took some time, but she heard of an Imperial Elven community within the Greater Alpine. There she met Minuvas Melphestaus, the Scion of House Melphestaus - who made an offer to meet him to see if she would like to join the family.
Aver'wyn smiles widely at the man approaching her. "Oh, adventuring of course."
She pauses, "Although, I want to find a place to call home too."
She goes on to carry a long conversation with man, inquiring about all of his recommendations about the sprawling city.
