    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It's when the player knows something but the character doesn't. For example, if I kill someone and he makes a new character that says "I know what you did" or something like that and then kills or does something to me.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It's like if someone types something like "*kills a dude*" but then the dude that got killed types "*stabs a dude so he bleeds to death*" that doesn't really work - they both should take their time and watch if they type.

A Viking from Curon was attacked by hooded people on the street in Curon. (in the night). They kicked, punched, and stabbed him, a guard saw them kicking Reiköndar so he ran and yelled at them to stop, they ran away and was never seen again. The guard got up to Reiköndar and said: “A-Are you okay?”. Reiköndar said: “A-Orgh, y-yeah, just... a bit wounded... will not die yet.” The guard took him to a place to rest and he made sure he wouldn’t die. 

He walked home and saw his whole family dead on the floor. He cried, and cried. Eventually, he fell asleep.

 

After that night, Reiköndar Svartlingrsson woke up and got up, walked outside and went to Sutica...

 

 

There’ve been some spottings of him, but he’s mostly unseen, or unheard of. 

People do not know where he lives, what he does, and what his plans are. 

 

He had a wife, daughter, and son, mother, father, a best friend called Jörgen, and more... all of ‘em – dead.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • Your biography does not include at least two references to our server lore. You can easily access all our lore through our wiki. Try including an important event, or a town your persona has visited before. Please try to use full, complete sentences.

  • Your character description should include more details about your character, such as their height, weight, hair, skin and eye color and attire. I should be able to close my eyes and picture your character in my head!

  • Your interesting facts are a little vague and does not coincide with server lore. Sweden does not exist in LOTC, please use one of the cities in our lore; you can find this information on our wiki. Please elaborate on each of your facts; you could try adding in why/how they developed each of these traits/facts. Remember, you need to have a good trait, a neutral trait and a negative trait (a weakness).
