    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Allowing knowledge from outside of the game to influence decisions and actions of the roleplay character. Making an action which relies on information which the character would not have. For example, if a player was to hear from a friend OOC or in real life, that someone was planning to steal from their house while they were on away, it would be metagaming if they then decided to hide in their house waiting to catch the thief.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Unrealistic or self-promoting gameplay such as, "I have the sword of Elendil, which kills everyone in one strike". Such gameplay does not leave room for other players and makes oneself the protagonist of the scenario. A typical example of this would be an unavoidable attack on another player, such as "springing from the corner of the street, he stabs him through the neck before he even has time to see what was happening".

Thalion turns to see the gentleman. He forces a gentle smile, and replies, "Thank you for your kind welcome. I am here about my business." As he says this he begins to turn, as if to push past the gentleman. Then, reconsidering, he stops himself and looks back at the man. "I have some work in the city", he adds, and as he says this his face brightens into a kind smile. Maintaining eye contact he asks, "May I ask your name, sir?"

Q: I am somewhat confused by the raid rules.

A; So you probably will not need to know these rules for a while as raids are not allowed during map switch. I suggest asking a CT though if someone raids you or you are the raider before you raid!
