    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using resources from outside of the game during the game. A good example of metagaming would be messaging a friend while playing and saying something like "Hey, I'm at such and such. Can you come help?"
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone does something in a game that they wouldn't be able to do realistically. Stabbing someone without telling them or letting them respond is an example of powergaming.
