Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Well my story isn't anything special, yet, but that's why I'm here, to make it special but I suppose if you want to know.." Zarra sat herself down on the cusion as she adjusted herself in such, crossing her legs and polietly placing her hands on her lap but it was clear this was all forced, she wasn't used to being proper but it was something she needed to learn.
"My life began kinda in a rough spot, my parents did not actually wish for a child it seemed so I was placed within a orphanage within The Crown Of Amathea." She looked around the room as she spoke, taking a moment before continuing.
"I was not a well behaved child to say the least." Zarra laughed abit at this. "I was always causing trouble for those within the orphanage and I wonder if that's why they stopped trying to stop me."
"I never wanted to stay put and I was always seeking adventure, I read so many ztories about heros, knights, all sorts, I basically taught myself about the world in my own way." Zarra smiled, abit proud of herself.
"When I was thirteen, I decided I had enough of the orphanage and ran away, barely escaped that place but I did, that's when I ran into her within the market place well I was running away."
"A tall muscular wood elf with brown hair and wearing a dirty coal brown apporn along with some normal clothing, nothing too special." Zarra smiled as she rememered the first time she met her.
"I hide under the stall she was shopping at and when questioned by those looking for me, she decided to not tell them where I was, she could of but she did not.."
"It puzzled me at first so when I came out, I asked her why she did not, instead of answering my question, she invited me to walk with her well she shopped around the market."
"It was an easy way to blend in so I did and she asked me why I was running in the first place, so I explained to her why."
"I did not want to be in that horrible cramped place anymore, it was suffercating and it made me feel trapped, I felt like I would never get out until I did.." Zarra looked back at the old lady.
"And that tall elf helped me escape, I owed her at least an explation."
"So I explained to her my reasoning, my yerning for adventure and so forth."
"And even after explaining my story, she did not make me go back."
Zarra smiled once more as she explained such to the lady before she eyed around the room again, recalling the memory.
"She even invited me to have dinner with her and I was not a child to turn down a free meal."
"Within some sort of forest was a wooden house that she stayed in, it was peaceful.."
"She introcuded herself finally as Faelon Tisarin, a Blacksmith around those parts."
"Faelon was kind to me and offered me a home as long as I worked with her and helped her around the house."
"I grew up with Faelon and she took great care for me, like any real parent would.."
"I never thought I'd have a real parent yet she took me in under her wing and when I was fifteen, she offically adopted me."
"I worked with her for as long as I could but I knew I had to leave the nest, the urge to see the world was still very much inside me, it still is."
"I never stopped dreaming of exploring and going on adventures."
"So that's why I'm here.."
"Mostly to explore the world, to adventure, to see new sights, but as well to find out who I am.."
"There is alot I wish to explore about this world and myself, I will find what I'm looking for no matter what! I know I will!" Zarra exclaimed with confidence as she smirked, she was ready for a new start and..
This is where it was going to begin.
