Lolipopovec

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

So he tiredly sad down. Before answering, took a good look around, eventualy poking into the bottom half of one of the candles. Lights danced on the ragged cloths as the candle swung in the air. It was not the first of these he saw, yet he was still a little amazed. Finally having been satiated with the looks of his surroundings, he faces straight forward, took a deep breath, and opened his mouth: "Im just a lonely traveler, trying to find a nice place for myself." At this point many a´ thought came to his mind. What a journey its been to this point. From the small fishing village, where he used to set sail at sunrise and came back long after the sun set. Where he and his father helped many villagers with their broken roofs and crumbilng homes. Finally, the time he stepped on this continent, ventured through all the spectacular moutains and valleys teeming with wildlife. Visions of farmers harvesting crops, as well as towering gates of large settlements. So he paused for a while, thinking over whether he should mention any of it. "I see." said the hag, "it must have been a long and exhausting journey." This took him out of the trance, and a little of guard. "Yes, it sure was. But all of that is well behing me. I believe the winding roads led me here for a  reason, I´ll see of what good I can be.""Very well, Im sure the fate has its share for you. I shall stall you no longer. Begone on your way, or choose to stay as long as necesarry," said the hag. So he bowed his head, stood up, thanked for the rest and without any more words continued the path down the valley.
