Lotoras Valharan was the son of a half-breed father (snow elf/high elf) named Valumas Valharan and high elf mother, whose name he never knew the second daughter, and fourth child of a minor nobleman, a far cousin of a councilman given position to keep him occupied away from court. who had hoped to gain more wealth into the family and his father wanting to gain a title of nobility so as to move past being an outcast should his parentage be discovered. Now he had told the noble of this but unknown to Valumas he had not told his Daughter of his parentage and only after she bore him a daughter, Dhara Valharan, and a son, Lotoras Valharan, did she discover it. Once discovered, she could not bear what she viewed as a dishonor and embellishment of the family name and killed herself and daughter, but the Lotoras was saved by his father Valumas. After this was done they where banished, losing all wealth and status. They moved to Fenn when he was 10, with his grandfathers brethren and where quickly accepted due to his training as a warrior and skills as a merchant. While they where there his father trained as a warrior and taught his son in mathematics and battle, but easily saw he was more intellectually inclined, and while making him train for combat he allowed him to spend most of his time playing his games, reading books, and fiddling with toys. However once Lotoras turned twenty-five his father became ill and nothing he found and no one he brought could cure him, so in his twenty-seventh year of life he became an orphan. For a year he did his best, but by this point had lost most of his material wealth and exhausted his favors and decided to travel the world in search of knowledge and to fulfill his dreams and ambitions, for he wishes to make his family proud and shall make his name known. He seeks knowledge in all fields, a new group of people in which to be comrades, power of all kinds for that is the truth of this world, and equal to his lust for power and knowledge, he wishes to create a better world, a better life, for those he would call his friends and family. Finally after two years of travelling, working any job he could find and exploring or reading in his free time, he finally landed in the cloud temple and discovered the path to his dreams and planned for his future. This is where the true story of Lotoras Valharan begins.
