How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using out-of-character knowledge to your advantage. Shortest example I can think of is that you're reading someone else's character profile to know all of their weaknesses/quirks and using that to your advantage. How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: /doj /kill. Powergaming is where you treat yourself like the baddest of badasses to ever badass. You can't fail, because that isn't fun. Upon review, your application has been placed onto Pending. It's a well written application, lots of depth, and was a good read. However, there are a few portions that don't add up to our current timeline, so I'm gonna go ahead and point those out below. If you need any help, don't be afraid to utilize our wiki or New Player Discord, as they are fantastic sources to find information.

Below, you will find the necessary changes that must be made to your application in order to be accepted:

  • The dates don't match up to our current timeline. We've only been on Atlas for 20-30 years, for your character to of "grown up" in Atlas, you'd be closer to that age range.
  • You can always utilize a former map, such as Axios/Vailor/etc., you'll just need to dig up the city information.
