Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"Orders." Luka says to the hag, his voice deep and rough "I don't come to places like this out of curiousity. I go where I'm sent, and I finish what I'm given." Luka then sat down on the cushion, and he leaned forward slightly, hands resting on his knees "If you've been expecting me, you already know my story." Luka then chuckled slightly, an almost evil, amused grin appeared on his face from ear to ear "In fact, you know exactly why I'm here. I serve Miloš Sarkozic, Count of Aldersberg."
"I was raised on the road by a travelling actress who called herself my mother, and I never knew the man who is meant to be my father. She died sick and forgotten, and I was left with nothing."
"Then Miloš found me starving in the mud after life had already taken everything else from me, and gave me my life back. Thus, he tells me to guard, I guard- he tells me to kill, I kill. And I've come here to act on my orders." He then brandishes a dagger from his sheath.
