You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

He cautiously takes a seat on the offered cushion, his eyes still scanning the mysterious surroundings. The flickering candlelight casts eerie shadows on the tent's walls. "You've been expecting me?" He asked , his voice hushed. "How is it that you know of my arrival, and where is this place. It seems forsaken long ago'' He said while he looked back at the old crone her face that had not shown any indication on what she was thinking about the man who had entered her tent. '' I must have been traveling for a while to start anew, and you are the first face I have seen in many weeks. May I know your name ?'
' He asked the old Hag before realizing that it would be rude to just ask their information. While not even giving their own, seeing out it was their home and he had walked into it
"Forgive me, I have asked you for your name but it is I who should introduce my self to you first, can't ask what I do not give " he clears his throat as he then took a breath to calm him self before speaking and giving the hag some more information about him self.
"My name is Nym Elthyra And I am a young traveling Adunian, as you know might know my race is not just everywhere anymore and I plan to see if I can get to know more people, and also help my race get more out there. "
''as for how I got here and my backstory, I have always been traveling from when I was a young child, going from family to family.....'' he let out a soft sigh '' not really having my own since they were lost '' as he spoke of the loss of his family his expression became more dark and twisted, before turning back to normal as he continued his story.
''over my teenage years, I mostly spend time either hunting for food, or doing small chores in inn's and stables in order to get some coin, and some knowledge and skills, seems like I have a strong like for playing the violin and I never really cared as much for crowded places, they seem suffocating to me, I would rather be around mountains and forest.''
''Now that I am a young adult I can travel by my self and work to earn my keep as I find a place to call home'' he looked out of the window as he saw it was getting late and he had to find a place to sleep, and a swamp didn't seem like the perfect place to go and set a camp, with the mossy and cold ground, or the wild beast that might roam the murky waters, let alone the smell that came from the lands.
''I apologize for taking so much of your time, but I shall take my leave to find a place where I can spend the night.''
as he walked out of the tent, the swamp while still dark and filled with danger, seemed less bleak, it seemed like talking to a person after a few weeks of solitude was something that had helped him, he moved trough the even darker town now that nightfall had arrived as the only light was that of the moon, slightly peaking trough the tree branches.
He made his way to a small hole in the wall in that was in the back of the small town, as he put down some coins to spend the night, the moment his head had hit the pillow on the bed he drifted off to sleep
