You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
I look around the tent gazing around until I focus on the Hag "I come from a country called Reinmar, I lived in a small unnamed village on the outskirts of a field." I shuffle toward the cushion in which I sit down near the hag so she may listen well. "I'm Venturing towards Aaun in search for my brother, he promises me food and shelter so long as I make it to him." The hag has a crooked smile on her wrinkled face as I glance at her, The candles going out due to a gust of wind coming from the holes in the tent sending shivers down my spine. "You have heard enough of my story, the sun is setting and I have a far walk ahead of me.." I get up before she can say a word and leave following the dirt trail headed deep into the swampy forest.
