Keegi Luni Lunarstar was born in a small village without any name, built by a group of nomads. His parents, Storm and Shiki Lunarstar, were ecstatic to welcome their first child into the world. Born healthy with beautiful blue eyes, the only concern was his hair. A very dark gray color, the resident doctor just assumed his hair would gain its color over time. The group they were with never stayed in one place long, however, and so Keegi got to begin his adventures before he could even walk.
A few years pass, and his hair never changed colors, so the group decided that he just had a rare pigmentation issue. They didn't care however, for he seemed to be in perfect health. As more years passed, Keegi began to learnthe basics of life from the nomads. He learned to fish and hunt by the age of 7, and how to farm by the age of 12. By the time he was 16, he was just a good, if not better, at being a survivalist than his own parents.
On the eve of his 18th birthday, his parents decided that it was time for him to make a decision. Would he stay with the nomads, or go off on his own? In the end, he chose to see the world for himself. His group had never traveled far, and the curiosity has fueled his desire to see what they had been missing.
The following morning, he woke to his parents holding a backpack with supplies, tears of joy running down their faces. Keegi smiled and embraced them, promising that he'll write and visit often. As he stepped out of his parents house to begin his adventure, the Nomad group approached and said their goodbyes.
It has been over 9 years since that day, and in that time Keegi has seen more land than he could've ever dreamed of. However, none of the lands he visited felt like home. Though he made many new friends, the cities were not as inviting. He would play harmless pranks too try and earn a laugh, only earning evictions and malicious glares from the victims.
Fearing that there is no place for him in this world, he decided to settle down in a new land. Hopefully this land will be the place where he can finally end his nomadic journey. A place he can finally call "Home."
Keegi looked at the strange but welcoming man.
"Thanks! I've never been welcomed anywhere before." He chuckles before looking down at his feet.
"To be honest, I'm usually met with hateful looks." He looks back up with a look of determination.
"As for your question, I'm an adventurer. I'm looking for a place where I belong. A place to truly call my home!"
The look of determination falls from his face as his stomach growls loudly.
"But first, can you tell me where to find some food?" He chuckles nervously.
