Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

He tensed up... he glanced at his brother, Rainier Margrave, before looking back at the old hag. He did as he was told and sat down on the slightly tore up cushion. "We came from a sickly town... we've been traveling for a couple of days now, searching for a new town to settle down in. We come to look for opportunities to rebuild since we've nearly lost everything." He cleared his throat. Images of the past week in his town flashed through his mind... the death, the sadness, and loss. "We seen the light emitting from this tent and finally thought we had time to rest. We are hoping you can show us a new life." He looked at the old hag with pleading eyes.
"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…
