Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Midra shifter awkwardly, her voice sounding like whisper. "H-Hi, um... my name is Midra. I come from a faraway place." An silence, growing thicker with every moment. She looked around nervously. "I-I came here on my own." She added. "I'm looking for a guide in this town..." Midra felt like she needed to add something more and couldn't let the conversation die. "I'm a High Elf. My parents died when I was a kid, it wasn't very easy to say the least." Midra's face became sad. "I don't even know who they are... All I can do is thank God that, I was saved by a passing adventurer. He is my only family figure I have, even though he is a human and I'm a High Elf... It's been 21 years and he is getting old, knowing the short span of human life... makes me kind of...afraid..." Midra's fingers fidgeted with the edge of her cloak, her eyes lowering to the ground. "I guess... I'm searching for my place in this world before time takes him away too." Her voice faltered slightly. "I just don't want to be left alone again."
