Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Liana would pause, placing her hands into the pockets of her dress as her eyebrow raised towards the hag. Slowly she'd move towards the cushion, making sure it was clean before sitting down. Fixing her dress, she'd look up towards the Hag, a questioning look in her eyes. "Why do you need to know? My story is just as unimportant as the hundreds of others out there in this world." A long pause created silence in the room as the elf stared intently. "But- if you insist."
"I am Aemilliana but I am called Liana for short. Only to friends however, do not get it twisted. I am a High-Elf of no importance, only here to watch, explore and find connections. I am in search of what to do, what to make of this place."
Though it wasn't a backstory per-say, it was something, an admission of wanting more in life.
"I lost someone close to me. A family member, my only family member. I want to settle down and meet people as I've been somewhat alone for a while." She'd pause before continuing her words. "I believe in second chances. I want a second chance at life after everything."
