Astrid's mane personality trait is her adventurous nature. She is hard to keep up with sometimes. Because of her lack of fear for most things she sometimes does things that are foolish and she is no stranger to getting in trouble. She was born in the Dominion and has lived there most of her life. She never knew her parents and grew up on her own. She has felt lonely most of her life, her childhood was not easy and she often felt scared. Her past is dark and is riddled with criminal activity. She felt very unloved when she was young because not many people were kind to her. Despite being alone, she has been trying to enjoy her life as much as possible and that is why she is so adventurous. She is trying to develop new skills so she can be proud of something. She is friendly to most people, but she can defend herself very well and is no stranger to violence. Her preferred weapons are a pair of daggers, but she is also very skilled at archery. She has some unpleasant history that she doesn't like to talk about. She was once part of a group of bandits who corrupted her for a time, they convinced her that they were her only family. but she eventually decided that it wasn't the life for her. She hides her darker emotions from most people through her energetic and wild personality. Most people would never guess that she was ever involved in anything sinister. Today she is living in the Dominion, she plans to improve her life by learning magic if she can find someone to teach her Arcane magic. She also plans to do some traveling, she wants to see the whole realm of atlas by the time she is 150 years old. She is looking forward to her next adventure, whatever it turns out to be. Despite how hard she tries to hide her darker emotions and violent past, they will always be a part of her and she is still affected sometimes. She does not play nice when she is involved in violence, so she usually doesn't pick any fights when she can help it but she will always finish it... well that's not entirely true, she does enjoy a good fight and sometimes likes to have a bit of fun.
