You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Expecting me?" the adventurer questions as she looks at the old hag, pouting slightly with a puzzled expression "I don't have much of a story to tell..." she'd continue regardless, slowly sitting on the cushion as invited, looking still, a bit confused, but she'd sigh "...My name...is Maeri, I suppose I could tell you a bit about myself..." thinking a moment while looking down, grey eyes wandering the floor "I grew up in a village...it was cold...the winters were specially harsh..." merely starting with the weather, seeming to be a person that has a hard time speaking alot "I am sure I wasn't born there...I would be lying if I said I can recall my early childhood...and I don't remember my parents faces...so I suppose it doesn't really matter..."going on if the hag didn't interrump of course "As for why I left...I have always had a...sence of justice I suppose...I...want to help people...I guess...it is more of a search for a porpuse more than anything else..." doing a little bit of self reflecting, looking straight at the hag "So I find myself here by sheer luck...why did you expect me?"
