Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example:
*He coughs a bit and fixes his messy hair. After a view seconds of finding a comfortable position he starts with his story*
-”You seem to have a lot of stories yourself miss, but i shouldnt be stingy, i will tell you my tale."
-"It all started with my home, a grand bustling city of Highlanders and fellow Heartlanders . And as fate wanted it I just inherited the buisness of my family, a trading company that sells wares that couldnt be found in that area."
*slight sigh*
-"Sadly... the gods werent with us that fatefull day. A storm brew up on the horizon and the city walls alarm bells started ringing. Ravagers were infront of the city, here to claim bounty. They raided and plunderd including my familys pride. I luckily managed to flee with some of our stock and a couple employees and my buisness partner. But the damage was done, the city burned down the same day and the remaining people died of starvation.
We could flee but the ravagers were still behind us."
*He looks at his watch , checking if he still had time left.*
-" We wanderd the lands for new opportunities and luckily i found mine. A group of armed Soldiers approched us carrying one flag. Someone dressed like a king started talking to me. Later i found out that he is the king of a land called Novaria. They helped us defeat the scoundrels that were hunting us. I was so impressed by him that from that day on i followed him on his path, whereever it might lead."
*He stands up quickly and with a loud voice says:*
-"Anyway, this is it for my story till now. Many adventures still await me and we were only here to stock up on supplies. Maybe we will meet again. Auf Wiedersehen, we say in my home language."
*He leaves the tent with confidence tossing a coin in the air catching it again , doing a fancy move with his fingers, proving that he has handled money before while the old lady wishes him much good luck for his future doings*
