Grogsworth, named after his father Grogsmeer, was born and raised in a small mountain top village which belonged to the Stonemace clan. At a young age Grogworth was taught the art of smithing and opened up a small metal works store at the age of 57. At the age of 60 he decided to go on an expedition and journey to other lands as he lived in his village all his life. During this time he came across the Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah in the western part of Atlas. Here, Grogsworth spent his days mining, smithing and trading with fellow travellers. It is here where his untold story begins.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
