Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

His eyes trailed the contours of the seat cushion, yet he made no move to sit at her invitation. He paused for a moment, his eyes trailing the old hag before speaking, "My former town was weighed down by poverty and suffering, I've come to explore and look for more opportunities with my brother." His eyes trailed away from the old hag, to his brother Vicar Margrave, the one thing he had left from his past. He pursed his lip before turning back to speak, his words carrying a hint of tension, "There's really not much else to say, the past is meant to stay in the past." His expression shifted, a flicker of displeasure tightening against his face, "I'd rather just move on."
