    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when your character knows something that you learned out of character, but they wouldn't realistically know. Ex: You OOCly read about someone's character and found out that they're a murderer. You cannot avoid them ICly because of this.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you force an action upon a player or entirely control someone else's character. An example would be someone throwing a spear towards someone else and saying "It hits you right in the brain and you die."

  • Johannesburg was destroyed in the beginning of the 1600s, which was almost 100 years ago (in roleplay), so your character can not have lived there! Carolustadt would have more likely been her place of residence, and she would have moved to Helena, the current capital city of the empire. (Hover over each for the wiki links).

 

  • Your character can not have any ‘wealth’ upon your entrance to the server. Perhaps say that she believed she had wealth, but she was in denial?
