You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"This town is a bit, uhm how to put it... messy," I mentioned while looking around. "and wait, puase for a moment... did you say you're expecting me? like specifically me? Their was supposed to be a different envoy but he was replaced by me. How did you know I was coming and who are you?"
"I am but an old lady living in these forgotten lands, playing with forgotten gifts given to those fortunate," the lady responded soft but commanding. I took a step back, I put my hand on my blade. "No need for violence, child, please..." she said softly. "SIT DOWN" her voice seemed mellow but aura if thats what I call it grew emence the bloodlust was iminent. So, I followed her command and sat down where she told me to. She looked very old maybe in her 90's there was no way she was human though, she was something else, something different. I proceeded to tell her highlights of some of the challenges I had along the way to this village as well as when I was but a mere pupil in the academy. I made sure not to disclose too much personal information as I was still too wary.
After the chat, she gave me something... A scroll of sorts, "Give it to the person who sent you. it is what they want, and you are always welcomed in this gloomy town." she mentioned with a timid smile on her face as i left that strange tent. Outside the tent their were people now, I saw small trades being made and converstaions in the making with each one another. It was indeed a poor gloomy town, but it had a nice charm to it if I do say so myself. I Then set of back to my home.
