    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using the information you got out of the game and your character couldn't have got.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Making your character perfect, without any flaws and basically overpowered.

Thorkell Andersen was born in Nordengrad, to a family of strong warriors and his dad was a gang leader of a gang that mostly just raided and robbed villages, because of this situation he was raised in constant battles and conflicts which lead to him battling a lot thus making him a strong and war-loving guy. Thorkell was very childish despite his age, his life wasn't about love, faith or history or any kind of stuff a boy of his age would be into, his life was about training and fighting, which were the most important aspects of his life which led to him being one of the strongest men out there. When he grew up and turned 20 years old his father died and he became the gang leader. Because he was involved in so many battles he earned a reputation of a strong warrior. In his 30’s he left his gang and started wondering from a county to country while searching for a war, fortunately for him, there was an ongoing war between two Human nations, the War of the Two Emperors, as the funloving man Thorkell is he joined the weak side to keep in interesting.

Character Age: 40
Physical Description: tall man, brown eyes, highly muscled with spiky blond hair held up by a bandana, doesn't wear much armour, weights about 180kg.
Roleplay Scenario:

Being the childish person I'm, I close my eyes, while wearing the biggest smile you can imagine on my face respond without hesitation “Adventure of course !” but couple second later after thinking ill add “Also while I'm at it, a beer would be nice” and add a loud laugh. I would continue by asking “where can I earn a bit of money using my strength and a blade? I need to warm up after this tiring journey I had to get here”.

  • I’d recommend re-reading the definitions of both Meta-gaming and Power-gaming. Both of your definitions appear to show a somewhat lack of knowledge regarding the actual meaning of the terms. Make sure to apply your knowledge more efficiently and try to add some examples that could be representing each.
  • Your Character Biography seems to be well written, but I’m afraid to inform you that it is lacking with regards to relevant information from LotC- ‘Denmark and England’ are not an actual thing in the lore. We do not use real-life locations and such so, I’d recommend you to read the LotC Wiki and actually use lore from there.

  • Your Character Biography appears to be a lot better with efficient lore pieces from the LotC Wiki, however, the ‘Baltic Sea’ happens to be another location relating to Real Life and could not further be allowed. I recommend you remove that and then all would seem better.
