    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the act of taking information oorp or without proper and explainable reasoning and using it to your advantage in combat, politics, or bargaining. Example: Josh is attempting to blackmail Sarah into giving him a sword, but Josh uses information he has never heard about in roleplay for his bargaining.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the act of enforcing an action upon someone that constitutes either an instant death or an unavoidable hit. Example: *Bob unsheathes his katana and slices Fred across the chest three times, dodging Fred's own hit and jumping out of the way*

With a swagger in each step, the 6"0 man stumbled off the rotted wet wood of the ship and onto the port, his mental fortitude against the waves of the sea proved a hard battle.  As the man continued to regain his balance through thoughts of distant joy, he was not prepared for the gentlemanly presence he now tried responding towards.  "Ugh, Good day sir, I came for some agricultural needs for my family."  With a sudden pause Brachstowitz considered the notion of adventure and wealth, eyes of dulled olive green turning back to the pompous and cheery man as he spoke once again, slightly stuttered like a drunkard of the taverns.  "Your appeal of adventure however, I am curious, perhaps you could show this young farmer the way to it?"  The young farmer in question straightened his posture and gave his best smile to the gentleman.
