Viara was born as a normal, average dark elf in the district of Velunor. As a child, Viara had few friends that were similar to her; Her and the few friends she had were viewed as different or odd. These few friends taught her new things and furthered her education. Her parents were creators of fine, expensive jewelry that was sold in their small shop. Viara was creative and often helped her mother and father to design the jewelry. However, as Viara grew, she was in need of adventure and something to make her life more interesting. She thought her life was bland and didn't have a purpose. Thus, she gained her parents' support and she went out to seek the adventure she wanted. She explored anywhere she could find, meeting new people and finding new cultures. As she was adventuring, however, a group of outcast high elves robbed her parents' jewelry shop, and in the process, murdered them. As Viara discovered this devastating news, she adopted jewelry-making as a way to remember her parents. This tragic event lead to her false assumption that all high elves are evil, as well as her hatred of high elves. As she moved on from her parents' murder, she became closed off and reserved, rarely ever becoming close to anyone. She took up a cold demeanor, which was only a facade to hide her vulnerability and loneliness. Besides the unattractive traits of her personality, Viara is creative and a problem-solver. Over time, she can show warmth and kindness to the very few loved ones she has.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
