Rosemary Miruel’luer, or Rosemary Redflower in common tongue, was born in a forested region common for many wood elves. She is a single child to a single mother; her father having been killed in a forest fire prior to her birth. Regardless to her mother being a single parent raising a single child, Rosemary’s mother was readily given assistance in raising her child by neighbors and friends alike. Soon after reaching an age of early adolescence, around her twenties, she became infatuated with knowledge in regards to culture, art, science, and especially alchemy. Not knowing any actual alchemy, she opted to test random plants and herbs in the privacy of her home. It was her chemical-antics that lead to her hair being accidentally changed to the bright red color it is today; when she had intended to do what many other Mali’ame do by dying their hair green. She was an unfortunate victim of circumstance when her mother had ‘reorganized’ her organized clutter, a lesson that taught her to label her concoctions in the future. Besides this whole incident however, she grew to quite like striking color, and continued to apply the same dye. A band of travelling Orc raiders came through their little hamlet one day, not wasting their time destroying the village but rather threatening them for food and water so they might continue on their way. The contact with these raiders, whom were hastily returning home to seek a cure to a plague they received in battle, spread the disease to the friends and neighbors that Rosemary and her mother had known for her entire life. Rosemary’s mother was also one of the many victims stricken ill... She died along with many members of the small settlement. Rosemary went through the painstaking process of immunizing herself with the scabs of fallen plague victims before respectfully burying them.
