Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Quite confused he sits on the pillow, under the kaftan his pet, Jasper, a cute gray rodent, pokes his head out, watching curiously what is happening. Aasim starts talking in a voice lacking confidence ''Why would my story be so important?'' the old woman doesn't answer anything, indicating that she is still waiting for an answer. Aasim look at the ground and begins to tell the story "it's not really... Important or maybe i'm not..." Aasim raises his face and becomes serious "I was kidnapped by a group of thieves when i was little... The wrong person in the wrong place, they were robbing a house and my friends and i are around... They escaped, i didn't... They kept me locked up until a group of circus performers bought me and raised me" Aasim takes out a coin and starts playing with it "i learned acrobatics, juggling, tricks, they trained me to put on a show" Aasim makes the coin disapear and he notices his companion listening "Oh and he, how could i forget him" Aasim starts to smile slightly "He is Jasper... there i met him, a poor creature forced to perform we were both the same, but i wanted... We wanted a free life where we could decide, i think that's how we ended up here" the rodent gets out of his clothes and runs to smell some jars in the background, then Aasim gets up and quickly cathes him ''Don't leave like that... especially when we are in a foreign place, have you gone crazy?'' the old woman looks at him penetratingly, and Aasim slowly retreats from the tent ''Excuse me...for... goodbye!'' after he leaves the tent and takes a few steps he takes Jasper in his hand ''That lady was very strange, don't you think?'' Jasper doesn't say anything, Aasim smiles, seeming to understand something ''i'm glad you noticed too!'' and the two friends continue the journey
