    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using out-of-character information to fuel in-character situations / give in-character information.
    Ex: Reading up about the magic used in the game and then having your character know that knowledge in character!
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: To carry out godly actions that include forcing roleplay on other people.
    An example would be a mary sue or "perfect" character new to the world trying to fight a king and winning because they typed that they would in their writing as opposed to working toward a progressive storyline that works well with other people.

"What.. what brings me here?" Adalene stutters out with a nervous inflection in her tone. Hazel hues follow over the well-dressed gentleman as she clears her throat, "Erm.. " She waits for his many questions and then she shakes her head, "Yes! Adventure, wealth, a sense of.. of purpose." She offers him a genuine smile and glance away.
