Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example:
Raewyn stared at the area around her with mild intrigue, more interested in the flora of the swamp around them than the woman who addressed her. After a moment of silence and hesitation she looked at the hag as she was addressed, furrowing her eyebrows slightly in concern. "You... have been expecting me? ...Oh. Then you must be a Wisewoman."
She nodded to herself before relaxing her shoulders and slowly sitting herself down on the gestured cushion.
"Well... My story is short.. and humble... I grew up in a village quite aways from here-wherever here is... with my parents and my adopted dark elf sister. It was a calm existence until our village was attacked, and our family fled on a boat for the screams and fire.. but.. we capsized.. and my sister; Elorra, and I were separated from our parents. We floated to these lands on a piece of driftwood, and we're hoping to someday find them and reunite our family. For now... we just... need to survive."
She sighed before glancing at the hag studying her a bit more. "And what of you? You can't ask for a story and not give one in return."
